Beginner or Enthusiast? This Holiday Course is for YOU!

Whether you are a total beginner or a seasoned enthusiast photographer seeking new challenges, our courses provide the opportunity for you to hone your photographic talents and develop new skills in a whole week's exciting and intensive photography programme shooting with, and among, the local Bulgarian people in traditional former Eastern Bloc towns and villages.
Designed for a maximum of one photographer per course *, the five day courses are 100% 'hands on' shooting different projects each day that have been purpose designed to improve your photographic expertise and confidence by teaching you how to organise and direct your own photo shoots to ensure successful images every time.

During your holiday course as the sole participating photographer, you will receive the undivided attention of the whole production team while engaged in a week of continuous photographic activity as you enjoy the pleasure of shooting projects that include not only traditional Bulgarian village life with its wonderful old characters and crafts, but also feature our beautiful models team in the fields of Photojournalism, Street Fashion, Glamour, Fine Art Nude and Gothic style photography.

Building on experience acquired over the past three years, and listening carefully to visitor's feedback, resident British professional photographer Peter O'Neill and his production team, have produced a programme of photography for 2012 that features projects previous visitors have requested that can be regarded as unique to Bulgaria and provide an excellent opportunity to create a portfolio of wonderful and varied exhibition quality images. 

The basis of the holiday course is that YOU choose your projects and we provide the models, production team, locations and support to enable you to achieve these spectacular images that will be unavailable outside Bulgaria.

As the newest member of the EU, traditional Bulgaria and its old buildings will soon disappear as modernisation moves Bulgaria into the 21st century and the new replaces the old. Now is the time for you to capture today's modern beauties in yesterday's locations while they are still available. Compose the images in colour and present them as beautiful Black and White prints.

 

Our Photo Model Holiday Courses will let you experience photographic opportunities unobtainable in Western Europe with unhindered access to old buildings, derelict houses, empty schools and factories that all provide tremendous backdrops and locations to shoot our testing, but well thought out, projects.

Along with the urban and studio shoots, our photography projects will take you to typical village locations where traditional farming practices and forms of transport have remained unchanged for over fifty years. These locations will provide the backdrops and characters that will contrast with the modernity and beauty of our enthusiastic models as you put your photographic creativity and talent to the test.

 

Carry out Glamour, Boudoir and Fine Art Figure shoots with our fresh young photographic models in empty village houses that still contain the old furniture and fittings left as they were when abandoned many years ago. Shoot among amazing riverside rock formations and in our own private swimming pool complete with its beautiful, terraced surrounding area. 
It takes little imagination to visualise the stunning images waiting to be captured. 

Meet and photograph the wonderful old people from these villages with faces full of character that reveal the hardships of their past life. Shoot in traditional old Bulgarian village houses, now deserted, but still maintaining the old furnishings and dignity of the days when life seemed so much simpler. Set today's models in yesterday's surroundings and contrast modern today with unspoiled yesterday.

Experience the 'buzz' of a street shoot where setting up a tripod does not create a major incident on some security pretext or other. In Bulgaria, everyone wants to be part of the action and are always ready with an honest opinion of your photographic efforts.

 

 

Develop your confidence levels in controlling a photo shoot in the full glare of the general public by putting your 'strobie' skills into practice carrying out a day and night time street fashion shoot in a typical Bulgarian high street surrounded by busy street cafes and curious, yet enthusiastic, onlookers. Photograph our fashion models in a typical olde worlde Bulgarian village house where the beauty and clothing of the models create an artistic but dramatic contrast between the conflicting lifestyles of those who have and those who have not. 

With Transylvania only a few hours away, create stark, moody Gothic style images in deserted, 'eerie' houses, overgrown cemeteries and similar locations where the past 'presence' of their previous occupants seems to remain and adds to the drama created by our skilled make-up artists and enthusiastic young models as they commit themselves to the Gothic theme while your photographic talents capture the atmosphere in dramatic images.
